Tristan. We met when you were 8. I was your 3rd grade teacher, and it was my first year. You had a profound effect on my life. I will absolutely NEVER forget your spark, your uniqueness, your creativity, and your talent. I looked forward to seeing you everyday. You were the kid who inspired me to teach. I let you and only you draw comics and cartoons during and in between lessons. We had an agreement that if I let you draw, you would do you regular work too. And, you were able to learn better standing up. You learned differently, and I always thought you were brilliant. I’m glad you are not suffering, but this world will miss your greatness.
